Pilot study

The NASH pilot study commenced in December 2010. Seventeen hospitals collected data on a small number of patients, as well as on their institution as a whole. By asking sites to have the data double entered, we were able to assess the questions for inter-rater reliability. Analysis of this data, along with feedback provided by the sites on using the web-based data entry tool, allowed us to address any issues ahead of launching the study proper in March 2011. Results of the pilot study will appear here in due course.
